This native iris will grow 1-3' tall and has large, dark green leaves with lavender/blue flowers that bloom in fall and sometimes in winter. It is drought tolerant.

Iris 'Canyon Snow' is a beautifu, white flower with a yellow throat. It is one of the best performing of the hybrid native irises. It tolerates regular garden conditions and does not struggle through the summer. Virtually no mortality issues at all. Very little to no maintenance once established. Like most Irises, the bloom period is fairly short. Best used in mass plantings. Prefers partial to full shade.

The Aesculus californica is a tree with a year-round interest. Creamy pink or white flowers bloom in the spring, and when late summer arrives, these leaves drop to unveil pear-shaped fruits.

Pincushion Flower

A perennial, cushion-form ground cover or bedding plant, growing 1 to 2 feet tall, 2-3 feet wide. White, bluish and lavender colored pom pom like flowers rise above the foliage.
