New Zealand Tea Tree has small, needle-like green leaves with showy, 1/2" rose-like flowers in winter and spring. These shrubs can be thinned to enhance their attractive branch structure and flaking bark. They need very little water once established. 'Helene Strybing' grows 6-10' tall by 5-8' wide. It has an open structure with deep pink blooms.

The 'Golden Goddess' is a clumping bamboo, spreading very slowly by underground rhizomes. Its stiff culms reach 8' tall, and the foliage is moderately fine textured. It can be grown in sun or shade, with average to little summer watering. This Bamboo responds well to fertilizing, and does excellent in containers. The western azalea is adeciduous shrub that grows 6-10 ft. tall. It produces fragrant, showy white to pink flower clusters between May and June. This shrub prefers shade and is hardy to -5 degreesF. The western azalea is native to California, is drought tolerant, and attracts hummingbirds.

Botanical name:Cupressocyparis leylandii
The Leyland Cypress is easy to grow, and will become a tall, evergreen tree with a dense crown that is conical to columnar in shape. While its leaf form, size and shape resemble those of the Cupressocyparis nootkatensis, its branchlets are finer, longer and more slender. It combines well with broadleaf evergreens, low junipers, and barberry.
