Penstemon gloxiniodes 'Firebird' is perennial, but sometimes treated as an annual. Compact, bushy, upright growth to '-4'. Tubular summer flowers in loose spikes at stem ends, in a rosy red color.

The decidupous rhizomes of this Peruvian lily will often run aggressively if not controlled. They grow best in full to part sun with some summer watering in dry climates. The Dutch Iris are really hybrids of the Spanish Iris. Plant the bulbs about 4 inches deep in a sunny spot and a well-drained soil. A mulch for winter protection is a good idea.

Tarata Pittosporum

Botanical name:Pittosporum eugenioides

This fast-growing, large shrub has glossy, yellow-green leaves with wavy edges and a length of 4". The small, yellow, fragrant flowers are born in clusters during the spring.
